Yesterday i went to the toronto autoshow.... and boy i wish i had brought a camera. In the BMW booth they were displaying the z9 concept. Everyone was ooo'ing and ahhh'ing and as i approached for a closer look, i look closly at the cars on board computer screen , and what do i see?

well i saw what looks to be a windows illegal operation pop up window... me and my friend laughed our asses off. I asked the BMW representitive, who was fiedlding questions about the z9, about the error. He said " Um , i dont know...." he scurried into the car and looked closer at it and then called 'the head bmw guy' down. Then he came back down to us , and said that "...concepts usually have minor bugs that need to be worked out." .

Im not sure what the on board computer even has windows... but from where i was standing , i swear it had an illegal operation box.

Other than that the autoshow was pretty fun. Alot of free stuff, goodies and tons of contests.

They should use Lunix instead because "It's truly a superior operating system" :)

Due to scalability, Windows CE would be a logical choice for a computer like that. For most portability, I think Linux would be wiser, though.

BTW: Wouldn't a more logical handle be VW-Audi?

Aww, never mind. Guess it doesn't matter since the Porsche 914 has a VW Type IV motor and the Porsche 924 has a VW 2.0 motor and the VW Passat's V6 (non- VR6) is actually an Audi motor and the Audi A4 actually has a VW 2.0, but different than the 924's.....

All in the familiy, I guess. ;)

I went there yesterday. Took me the whole day to check out all the cars. :) The Ferrari section was crowded. Oh yeah, they let us get in side the viper... cool! :D
