Is this for real?? http://www.zoovip.com/file.php?id=147

To summarize it for anyone on dialup:

It looks like they are in the middle of a game of soccer and there is a little bit of dust being blown around and then it erupts into a full blown tornado! They have some shots of it in the sky and you can see the dust and objects being twirled about in the sky. Everyone freaks out and runs like I've never seen before.

How does this happen and is it possible in the US?

It happens all the time in the US and the world. It is NOT a tornado, it is a dust devil. Google it.

So it is a dust devil, is the one in this video abnormally big? Do they usually pick chairs and stuff up?

A stiff breeze can pick an empty lawn chair.

Next time that happens, Zidane can just head butt it and save the day.

Yeah, dust devil. Tornadoes don't happen with fairly clear skies. If it was a tornado, those people would NOT have been standing around like that. They'd be dodging large debris, or else they'd be airborne. Of course, the heavy rain, lightning, and possibly hail that precedes a tornado would also be a clue to leave quickly.

yep, large dust devil... and yea, standing around is better than panicing and running around like a chicken with its head cut off. a dust devil wouldn't be able to pick a person up, even that one (being a moderately large F0), but it could knock ya down. if there is no real place to go, best to lay flat on ground and cover ones eyes and back of neck.

Yep, a large dust devil.

BTW, they have noticed huge ones of these on the surface of Mars.
