Tornado 1000...Fan in front?

Is the 3dcool.com Tornado 1000 Case series supposed to have an intake fan in front(behind the expansion slots there is a place for one)?? Mine came without this fan. Upon calling the company they claimed that that fan did not help with airflow so they had removed it. Why would that fan not help? Is 3dcool just trying to pull my leg?

how many exhaust fans does it have? im not sure in your partciular situation if it should come with one or not. but i would think you should have negative pressure inside the case. exhaust>intake. this way air is always flowing out faster than coming in=more circulation. if you had more intake you could have air sitting in the case and not able to get out. im not sure if that thinking is correct, please point it out of im wrong. just a thought.
