I know there is already an existing Torchlight thread and this was just mentioned in it, but I think the sale and update is worthy of a thread starter/PSA.

So, Torchlight is $10 this weekend on Steam and just got support for Steamcloud as well as in-game achievements!

$10 is an absolute STEAL for this game!

Nice! I started playing the demo and have been on the fence on buying it. I think this deal settles it.

Thanks for the great tip. I don't open steam much anymore, so I miss the deals a lot.

In for one.

For whatever reason, I'm running into some graphics issues. There's a lot of stutter starting on the second level, and I can only fix it by restarting the game. Once the game restarts, the stuttering goes away, but comes back within 5 minutes of playing.

Annoying. :(

Just on the second level or on every level and the stuttering starts no matter what after 5 minutes? Have you tried disabling/enabling Vsync? Is Vsync forced on or off in your nvidia control panel? Are you using 19X.XX drivers?

The cool part is, since the demo is essentially the whole game, you don't have to redownload the game if you got the demo and all saved progress will still be there. :awe:

Downloading the demo now. I've wanted a Diablo-style game that's not Diablo for a little while now, but Titan Quest won't even launch (good thing there's a demo for that too).

The Demo actually has issues which the latest version of the full game does not have.
But its up to you. Had you bought it with the THQ collectors pack for 50 bucks you wouldnt even have cared if it worked or not.

I still recommend it.

I think there was an update to the demo as well, because I downloaded the demo a few weeks ago, and when I launched it last night (before I bought it), the demo was updating.

The demo is actually the full game just locked to the first quest of defeating Brink. So yes, any update to the full game (at least through steam) is also applicable to the demo.

Its a great price to be sure. I run it on my notebook and its got a T6600 CPU and the 4500MHD graphics and it runs fine.

I've heard that. But I also performed a workaround that someone said would fix the problem and it still doesn't work. Either way, I don't feel like paying for a game whose demo doesn't even work. If the developer wanted my money they could patch the demo and I might buy it.

The THQ Collector's Pack looked like a great deal but unfortunately I already own Company of Heroes, otherwise I would have bought it.
