When you click on the link to go to the NY Post, there is a video. I think it is fine, as you can't really see much. But if you worry about it not being appropriate at your workplace, then don't click on it.

http://nypost.com/2016/08/29/topless-parade-participant-gets-punched-in-throat-by-leering-man/

“We’re not here for everyone’s entertainment, we’re not here to get our pictures taken. We’re here to show that this is normal and that it’s legal to have your top off in New York City as a woman,” said visibly upset lab tech Elyse Scarpino, a 26-year-old from New Jersey.

“I thought it was gonna be a little more progressive and less men just ogling at you.”

100 men with smartphones for every man or woman going topless. I guess not many people other than the police have jobs.

Its new york. Even if only 1 percent of their population were unemployed thats still around ten thousand people.
Guess what? It aint 1 percent.

As for the punch in the throat: well, again, its new york.

If folks want to normalize the practice they need to stop with the parades and just do it daily.

It could overload the cell system as everyone watching is trying to do a live feed.

This exactly. The same can be said for many things that can be viewed as controversial or progressive; stop with all the fanfare and just make it commonplace.

There's a point to the parades to make a statement and raise awareness and make it not seem like a few people breaking laws. It's a little like gay parades helped make a point that raised awareness of gay discrimination more than just a person being gay.

Just like with the majority of topless women I saw the past 2 weeks at beaches in Europe, most of the titties here are ones you with you never saw.

Yes, because MILLIONS of years of evolution have been wiped away by 5 years of 3rd wave feminism.

Dear womens, we've been conditioned to seek out a mate that has appropriate body dimensions for good breeding. Though it isn't "polite" to look at a woman with her tits hanging out, it is by nature what we do.

My bad,

Being topless isn't really a big deal. It's in Manhattan.
Lessons from story
#1 Don't spit on people.
#2 NYPD officers are supposed to respond to someone being spit on as meets criteria for assault\battery or at least harrasment. Woman should have been detained and even arrested if witnesses corroborate the story.
#3 Don't punch people.
#4 Parades require "oggling". Otherwise, you are simply jaywalking\obstructing traffic
