Sadly, goatse was ripped wide open by the government of the Christmas Islands (.cx TLD holders)

Either that, or they got tired of paying the US$150 yearly fee for a .cx

It still exists... Elsewhere.

Edit: It's a very similar URL. Still a .cx - it wasn't the fee. If you're interested, you should be able to figure it out.
