Gravity Gun - cool ass gun that deserves its spot.
Nukes - I agree nukes should be on there. I loved nuking bases in starcraft with the ghosts.
Energy Sword on Halo 2 - that should not be on there ... that is one of the weapons in halo 2 that dummied the game down and a major flaw in the games design. It would be okay if it was single player only, but for multiplayer it doesn't help, especially the fact that there is only 1 per level and the weapon respawn system in halo 2 is even more flawed.
Also after playing GoW, I would have to nominate the default machine gun for it's sheer fact it has a chainsaw on the gun. Anyone who's chainsawed someone in GoW on multiplayer can tell you that Chainsawing someone never EVER gets old. Everytime I do it, it feels rewarding. I'm almost going to throw it out there and say the Torque Bow should be on this list too
I just got my 360, and picked up GoW last weekend. Man that game is fun! I'm really disappointed in the weapon lineup though. The only one I use is the default rifle with chainsaw.

I stopped using the grappling hook after Q2 even though I loved it so much, but sure we can throw that into the mix
The rifle is all you really need for the normal difficulty, but I think you'll find the shotgun indispensable for handling lambent (sp?) wretches and the bow essential for Raam on the insane difficulty. The standard rifle along with the bow is my favorite combo in the game.

Atmosphere Deprivation Missiles from the original Homeworld. They can wipe out the atmosphere of a planet in seconds.
I do also rather like the ion cannons on the Hiigaran battlecruisers too.
Combining the chainsaw and machine gun is the Lancer from Gears of War. A powerful machine gun with a chainsaw attached to it.
Yes, the Torque Bow is quite excellent. It's like a sniper rifle with exploding rounds. It's neat too when you hit something, just their little grunt, then a little bit later, boom. Want to take down a Boomer or Reaver in a single easy shot? This is the ticket.Originally posted by: purbeast0

I got tired of always hearing "Hammer of Dawn is offline." It's nice when the big enemy is dead though, and there's just little guys all around - they just pop when the beam hits them. It also does a fine job of sealing up emergence holes.
Shotgun or the revolver pistol are excellent for wretches. Or if I've got them coming just one at a time, the chainsaw is always amusing. I have also beaten them to death with the shotgun.
I really wanted the AWP from Counterstrike in there.

but the top weapon of all time is the nail gun from quake 1, either version. Its hands down the most awesome sounding and most deadly looking gun out there. When the barrels start revolving on the improved nailgun, get out of the way or be performated.

BFG - theres no compitition. Theres nothing that clears the entire room for you in one shot.

Yeah. I personally hate the AWP; I suck with it. But you hand me an m4, and i'm set. I knew the gravity gun would win.
I loved the cerebral bore from Turok 2. However, Turok 2 also had the Nuke Weapon which, as its name dictates, laid to waste anything and everything in its path.
I'm glad that they included the laptop gun from Perfect Dark...however they should have also included the RCP-90 from Goldeneye due to its speedy clip-emptying abilities. A bit hard to do with only a top 10 list, I guess.

Or LAW, or nuke cannon, or grenade spread shooter, or pretty much any super explosive weapon from pretty much any first person shooter. Room clearers are nothing special.
Nothing touches the quake2 railgun. Best weap of all time.
I also got kicked from servers, got called a bot on a regular basis. All those pasty faced teens were just getting their a$$ handed to them by a +30 year old.
