Hi,
I was wondering when the much hyped nForce would come out, and it seems from what I can gather it might even appear as late as Oct.
So I need a computer by the end of August, and I was thinking of getting a simple computer to tide me over first of all. This setup certainly fits the bill; I can just change over the motherboard once the nForce appears.
But one thing: What's the top speed of Athlon supported here? If as I gather, this board supports 266 FSB then it can support AthlonC Tbird 1.3GHz or 1.4GHz, no? Sorry, I'm just starting to follow computer developments again, so I'm a little lost right now. Thanks!
P.S. I know this is irrelevant here, but just an aside: Will the nForce support Athlon4? And I doubt so, but does this chipset support Athlon4? Could save a little bit more on the upgrade path if both do.
