IRL Multiplayer on consoles owns PC's.

Otherwise, PC's >>>>>>>>>>> Consoles, IMO.

Console market = 10x the size of PC = more developers = more games. We get what, 5 good games a year on the PC? And they all get released in one quarter, it's just not worth the cash some people are shelling out for SLI widescreen LCD rigs. I'm gonna get a hell of a lot more enjoyment out of a $300-400 console than I will from a PC that costs 2X+ as much.

Uh, 4x AA isint that processor or graphics card intensive anymore. And your totally wrong about " Console market = 10x the size of PC = more developers = more games. We get what, 5 good games a year on the PC?". Stop talking out of your ass. The console market isint 10x the pc market. Lets see how many good games were released for xbox this year. uh one, halo 2, which is a bad game anyway.

Bring the box over?

Are you kidding me? People actually do that? LOL!

At worst it's only going to be twenty pounds.

unless you have some steel case or some liquid cooling.

Id never bring my comp to a lan party :p

Its heavy as crap.

mine weighs like 80 pounds:eek:

same here :( damn steel case. i could have spent $20 more and gotten aluminum but noo i had to be a cheap bastard.

btw, halo 2 multiplayer is just as (or more) engrossing than any pc multiplayer i've every played.

invest in a frickin portable hand truck.

There are aspects of both consoles and PCs that I have them for. Simple as that. To proclaim one being better than the other, in general, is lame.

I agree! Both for the WIN!

For those that can't afford both, go with one that fits your needs. There's enough satisfaction with either form for gaming needs.

You spend a fortune keeping your computer up to date with video cards and processor and memory and mobo upgrades, while consoles are slightly less of a fortune, especially if you're like me and you wait until they drop down to around $200.

Who says you have to constantly keep it up to date? My friend has a PIII and an ATi 8500 and can still play any game, aside from UT2004 which lags too badly.

Right... turn on 4xAA in CoD2 or Quake 4 and say that again. You're a fvcking moron if you think the PC market is anywhere near as big as console, why do you think Carmack left the PC for the Xbox 360? And unlike the PC, consoles have more than one genre, aka FPS. Halo 2 is not the only recent big title. Sports: Madden, Fifa, NBA Live; Racing: Burnout, NFS, GT; Psychonauts, GTA, X-men Legends II, Ultimate Spiderman, DOA, Tekken, Unreal Champ 2 (which isn't going to hit PC). PC versions of any of the aforementioned games don't sell nearly as well as the console releases.

Already did :D

haha. Your saying PC's are only good at FPS. What the hell are you smoking? PCs own consoles in every genre except 2d fighters and sports games.

PC versions of the mentioned games dont sell because they suck. Why would you want unreal champ 2? UT2k4 owns it.

Pffb, you own 2x 7800GTX's, what'd your rig cost you, like 3 grand? Do you justify that much cash with the amount of time spent playing games? There are only 2 genres I can think of other than FPS that are PC exclusive, RTS and MMORPG, and I'd consider RTS to have a very small fanbase considering Brood War, a 6 year old game is still the most played of it's kind, and mainly in Korea. Consoles have the up in all fighters (not just 2D), racing games, sports games, action/adventure & platformers, puzzle/party games; PCs have FPS, RTS, MMORPG. And I for one would like to see UC2 ported to the PC, UT2K4 is a rehash of every UT before it.

You're telling me. .ugh.. I hate these stupid pc vs console arguments. Y'know whats just as bad as a console fanboy?? A pc fanboy. I love both and will continue to play the best of pc and console gaming. I will never understand what the fuss is all about.
