Too bad PC = sh!t for co-op. Perfect Dark Zero, Halo 3, Gears of War. Good luck getting co-op support for these games on PC, and I doubt half of them will even be ported. With an Xbox 360 you get guaranteed 4xAA and guaranteed framerates out of the box for every game you'll pick up, something the PC will never be able to do regardless of how powerful they become. Console market = 10x the size of PC = more developers = more games. We get what, 5 good games a year on the PC? And they all get released in one quarter, it's just not worth the cash some people are shelling out for SLI widescreen LCD rigs. I'm gonna get a hell of a lot more enjoyment out of a $300-400 console than I will from a PC that costs 2X+ as much.

Uh, 4x AA isint that processor or graphics card intensive anymore. And your totally wrong about " Console market = 10x the size of PC = more developers = more games. We get what, 5 good games a year on the PC?". Stop talking out of your ass. The console market isint 10x the pc market. Lets see how many good games were released for xbox this year. uh one, halo 2, which is a bad game anyway.

At worst it's only going to be twenty pounds.
unless you have some steel case or some liquid cooling.
Id never bring my comp to a lan party
Its heavy as crap.

same heredamn steel case. i could have spent $20 more and gotten aluminum but noo i had to be a cheap bastard.
btw, halo 2 multiplayer is just as (or more) engrossing than any pc multiplayer i've every played.

Or you could do something drastic. Like, you know... having both and appreciating both?
There are aspects of both consoles and PCs that I have them for. Simple as that. To proclaim one being better than the other, in general, is lame.

You spend a fortune keeping your computer up to date with video cards and processor and memory and mobo upgrades, while consoles are slightly less of a fortune, especially if you're like me and you wait until they drop down to around $200.

And unlike the PC, consoles have more than one genre, aka FPS.

Right... turn on 4xAA in CoD2 or Quake 4 and say that again.
