Top motor fans, are they any good?

yeah i know there is already a thread on this but it didnt receive many replies. just thought id solicit some more before i plunked down some change on some.

For the price there are fine fans. They aren't in the lines of Papst, Sanyo Denki, Delta, YS tech. But you could by like 5 Top Motor/Dynatron fan for the price of those. If you just wanna move some air cheaply its the way to go, as long as you go for the ball bearing versions they have a lifespan of about 50k hours, ~5 years of continous use. As for there specs, there not bad, there not great either...better then generic. Just an overall decent fan.

thanks gizzo. i can get some of these on clearance for a buck. i mean i was looking at the sunons but they are just real expensive. would i be better off getting the sunons or would these work fine (ie, if both are around the same cfm, db, and rpm). seems like it wouldnt matter would it?
