Top Gear, US edition.

It's TERRIBLE. All the segments are repeats from the euro version years ago, and the humor is dry as saltine crackers in the desert.

You can tell Clarkson is holding back.

They have put some new stuff in, but yes Clarkson is holding back.

New stuff that will inevitably be in the current season of the euro edition.

is the sound still f-ed up?

Yes, the US version has incredibly trumped-up bass and everything else is turned WAY down. Apparently imitating the way "Americans" (AKA "total dipsh!ts") do their car audio.

its horrible. they explain everything like americans are tards. take out brit slang etc. water it down, taking away the whole foreign appeal of it all. the whole point of why we like it is that its so different. with presenters that are silly and talk funny. and if they talk about england..well thats interesting too.. stupid execs cut the charm right out of top gear usa.

I like it but the closed caption does lag a quite bit behind. But I can bear with that as well. At least I enjoyed watching the car flying into the target. I would take the Porsche GT3 R anytime in terms of the perf/price ratio. Hell, I do perfer the Ferrari's lower height and the overall look.

Totally agree. That quirkiness of the show is just gone. It feels too condensed and watered down.
