It will probably suck donkey balls because they won't be able to come anywhere close to duplicating the chemistry between Clarkson, Hammond, and May. It'll be way too forced and unfunny.

I started thinking a while back that they should do a US version, but then realized that it's a bad idea. I can't really imagine that a show in the US would say (insert US car company here) is crap. Only to have it be sponsored by another car company. Big let down coming. Though hopefully they will figure out what else to do with a Toyota pickup truck.

It will suck ass. I hate Clarkson so much, but at the same time I still want to hear what he has to say. The US version will be censored to shit, the hosts won't be allowed to make any rude comments at all, and the hosts will be picked based on attractiveness rather than being interesting or funny

That is the appeal, they do stupid shit with million pound cars and they really test them out while going on rallyes and roadtrips... They have fun, you have fun watching... but let me guess, you are more of the "american bachelor fucks a nun" type of guy?
