Top Gear FTP

I've got an ftp server set up once again for the top gear episodes...

this time it's using encrypted ftp and it's going to be bandwidth managed...

5 users at a time, so it is restricted, but I've got the largest collection of them and I just received some new episodes that are higher quality than the ones I currently have (will be uploading them to the server tomorrow)

go to the link in my sig, register (if you haven't already) and go into the topgear forum...

registered, hit the top gear forum sticky for the server/user/pass info but can't get FlashFXP to even connect. I enabled SSL (tried implicit and auth SSL)... what am I doing wrong ?

SSL should be encrypted FTP, no ? Guess I'll grab encrypted FTP anyway...

i registered over 24hrs ago and I still didn't get a confirmation email (username: still_aimless).

(FlashFXP still didn't work)

EFTP3 client says... Error Encountered - 500 Connection timed out (Winsock error #10060)

Encryption was on by default.

Lots of people want an ftp for these videos because of their size.

I am curious though. Whats up with this encrypted ftp thingamawhatzit? Some benefit to it?

no benefit to it, my buddy just doesn't want the college to know what is being transfered (it was his decision)

well I can't connect to it when I try to use the user login and pass but can when I log into it using my super duper login.. hmmmm
