After re-watching the entire first season (back to back) it's painfully obvious there needs to be a lineup change.

Warren Brown has to go. This man is just shouldn't be on television at all. He may be a fine cartoonist and seems like an OK guy but he just isn't "built" for TV. I don't know how else to put it, he's just too quirky.

Steve Pizzati has to go. Obviously he is meant to fill the role of Richard Hammond, the young, hip and short middle-man. The problem is I want to die when he speaks. He has to be one of the most annoying TV presenters I have ever seen.

The only person worth hanging onto was front man Charlie Cox. He was knowledgeable, fun to watch and brought a certain presence to the show. Too bad he left on his own, due to "lack of time".

Cox has been replaced with a man named James Morrison who is a jazz musician...

I watched one episode and could barely get through it. It just feels like a really poor, witless imitation of the original.

It does need some work. The biggest problem is it seemed like they were trying too hard to be Top Gear UK. They need to find their own style and present the show as Top Gear Australia, not Top Gear Australia trying to be TG:UK at every chance. The first season of TG:UK wasn't all that great either, but with time the show became great. TG:AU will get good in time, but it will never be TG:UK. For a first season, I'd say ambitious, but rubbish. ;)
