Hi guys,

I am to the point where i'd like to upgrade to a new computer. the one I have now is great, but with the 45nm 1333mhz fsb chips coming out, i'd really like to be there to take advantae of all that power.

My question to the group is, and I know what some of you will say because i've said it to others as well, is this a good time to go top end?

I realise there is new technology coming out every day, but I want to make this big purchase right when a major revision has entered the marketplace. Is there something coming out that would define my needs?

My budget is 7k, and i'd like to go all out. sli, top processor/mobo, 30" dell monitor, top end water cooling, raid-0 raptors, etc. The Dell monitor does not have to be included in that 7k either (and I already have the Z5500 speaker sound system so speakers don't need to be included in the price as well).

Let me know what you guys think. I'm ready to move on this, but if it's something where in the next 2-3 months something major will be out, I am in the position of being able to wait with no problem. Right now I have X2 4400+ amd with 7950 evga gpu and a dfi expert mobo with 2 gigs of ocz memory and 20" dell monitor. Not the best by any means, but runs ok for me.

Thanks for your help!
