Mine:
http://www.teh-intarweb.com/hivemail
:D
Fast, efficient, and I get as much space as I want. :p

And no, you can't have "you.suck - at - teh-intarweb.com" either. That's mine

*edit*

You may REQUEST an account via PM.
I MAY grant you one, provided:

a) I like you (i.e. you're not a troll, an idiot, or a jackass)
b) I know who you are (n00bs and lurkers piss off)
c) You agree not to use it as a spambox or to do anything other than use it for personal email.
d) You agree that I have authority to delete any account at any time if I suspect abuse.

tell that to my Yahoo mailbox ;)
Ditto. I think I get more spam in my Yahoo box than my Hotmail box, as if that seemed possible.

amnesiac - I freakin' love Hivemail!

tlam617 - If you can afford $14/yr you can have:

Your own www.whateveryouwant.com domain
Your own web hosting which includes CGI, Perl, PHP, webmail, 5 email addresses, forums, pichosting, etc.
100MB webspace which can be used for anything
1GB per month bandwidth
FTP accounts

etc.

Just checked my Hotmail account for the first time in a week: 84 Spams
Meanwhile i checked my Yahoo account and there is none... The last one i recieved was well over 2-3 weeks ago.

It really has nothing to do with the ISP. Unless you get less spam on your Inbox becuase one's spam filter is better then anothers.

There are two main ways of getting spam. Signing up on a website using your e-mail address.. And then that particular website begins spamming you or they sell your e-mail address to spammers (or they get hacked and your address is stolen). And the other way, posting your e-mail address on a webpage. Even forums like anandtech. Spammers have bots that scan webpages just as search engines do, looking for e-mail addresses.

Its not like Yahoo is targeted more so then hotmail or vice versa. I get 20-40 messages per day in one of my yahoo accounts (because I was dumb enough to post it on a webpage).. But only 1-2 per month in a different account.

Hey what the hell.

Who are all you people signing up on my email server?

Cripes, I never offered free webmail to you weirdos. I just linked to what I was using.

If you REALLY need a free webmail account, PM me and if I know AND like you you'll get one. Don't just sign up and expect me to approve you.

Why did you post a link to your free webmail server then? :)

yahoo is really good. their filter seems to work well because i use it as my spam-dump account and it receives very very little. pop3 > everything, though. webbased sucks
