Key 11 September suspect arrested - Five suspects were arrested - and two killed - in Karachi

One of the key suspects in the 11 September attacks on New York and Washington last year has been arrested in Pakistan.
Yemeni national Ramzi Binalshibh, who recently claimed to have been one of the organisers in the attack, was captured earlier this week after a four-hour gun battle at a house in Karachi.

Binalshibh told al-Jazeera of Bin Laden's involvement

Mr Binalshibh, who is said to have shared a flat with alleged hijackers' ringleader Mohammed Atta, is on the FBI's most wanted list and has a $25m bounty on his head.

CNN

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Ramzi Binalshibh, one of the most wanted al Qaeda operatives by the U.S. government, has been captured and is in the hands of Pakistani authorities, U.S. government officials told CNN Friday.

FoxNews

NEW YORK ? In a double whammy on the war on terror, U.S. authorities in Pakistan arrested a man suspected to be a major planner of the Sept. 11 attacks and also arrested five members of a suspected terror cell near Buffalo, N.Y.

One member of the homegrown cell was linked to intelligence that also prompted the Justice Department to issue a higher alert earlier this week, officials said.

Officials said Ramzi Binalshibh, suspected to be a major planner of Sept. 11, was arrested in Pakistan earlier this week and was being held in U.S. custody.

MSNBC

MAJOR VICTORY FOR U.S.
The arrest is a major coup for the United States. The Arabic-language Al-Jazeera news agency reported this week that in an interview conducted in June, Binalshibh claimed responsibility for the Sept. 11 attacks and that Mohammed identified him as the ?coordinator? of al-Qaida?s ?Holy Tuesday operation.? Sept. 11, 2001, was a Tuesday.

ABCNEWS

The arrest is not only a major break in the investigation of the Sept. 11 attacks, but a major blow to the leadership of Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda terror network. Binalshibh has described himself as al Qeada's operational leader.

He is believed to have tried to be the 20th hijacker in the 9/11 plot, but he was denied a visa, preventing him from entering the United States from Germany.

YES! YES! YES!

After reading the interview with him on Al-Jazeera this week I could not wait to hear about him getting caught! I hope Pakistan hands his ass over!

They'll pull his fingernails out one by one then shove bamboo shoots in his cuticles and probably drill his teeth without any pain killer first to get all the info out of him before they shoot him.

that's not a pretty picture, but I like the 1984 approach better. With people like this, its not enough to cause them pain. They can live through the pain and then die, dying like martyrs. But if you break them mentally, and then rebuild them to your liking, THEN you will have won. They will die weak, defeated and pitiful, not proud martyrs.

Ok, after you pull their fingernails out and shove bamboo shootsd in their cuticles you dip their hands in After Shave and after you drill their teeth without painkiller you make them gargle with Ice Water.

And then you bury them in pig urine, or whatever other stupid-ass superstition that sends them straight to hell.

;) Just kiddin.

I'm not really vicious, but if you wanna defeat your enemy simply torturing him will achieve nothing if he dies a martyr and/or with his beliefs unchanged.

He dies, that's all that matters.

what would you prefer: him dying with a spiteful look in his eye when you shoot him, or him dying of old age, after you've changed his beliefs and he has become an admirer or yours?

I know I'd prefer the latter.

Yeah after I stop off at your house for a few minutes.

I don't want that filthy animal as an admirer. I want him to be a grease spot.

The second Binalshibh sets foot on U.S. soil the goody two shoes limp wristed pansy ass liberals will be screaming that he shouldn't get the death penalty and that we are somehow violating his human rights. Sad to say but in this case I would let Pakistan take care of handing out punishment. That or if they decide to fly him back here I hope the plane "experiences mechanical difficulties" forcing the crew to bail out and sadly Binalshibh's parachute will "malfunction."

I agree with Marty!

Humiliate, break, brainwash, and reprogramme Ramzi Binalshibh into a Pro-US monkey. :)
I would love to see him on his next Al-Jazeera appearance saying "Bin Laden is a scumbag leading us all into the pits of hell. God bless America. This message brought to you buy McDonalds".
