The push from the big HP machines that were put behind me has moved me into the top 50K in the world.

#48176 with 785 WU's.

Now onto the top 25K!

Congratulations! It's going to take a loooong time to get to the top 25k though. All the people you've passed have very few wu's with little production, but at the top, they have a lot of wu's already, and are still producing a lot of wu's every week. I'm only at 42k and I hit 50k about four of five months ago. Good luck though, and keep on truckin'!
 
Congrats there, Michael! And, yes, it's definitely a long climb yet...

I just hit 3,150 WUs today, and I'm in a 6-way tie for 6,735th place.


 
I'll make it to the top 25K, I just need more power, or at least the same power that's behind me right now (plus time). I'll have another 30 processors or so behind me the coming weekend for a full burn-in.

I just asked for a little help to make it to 1K so I would lose three races in a row and lucked out.

Between last night when I posted this message and right now, I went from 785 WU to 870 WU's. Those HP "super computers" really kick fscking ass and I'm going to buy my buddy a case of beer, not just one!

I'm going to be really sad when the 200 WU / day push I'm getting goes away. I'll have it through the weekend at least. I might make it to 2,000 WU before the people I was racing to 1K make it there.

All through dumb luck as I never knew the person I asked for help (trying to get one PC added) worked where he had control over super computers ...
