Please note that we have purposely left out any ?weapons of limitless power.? Weapons like the Infinity Gauntlet, Cosmic Cube, and Black Diamonds are certainly powerful, but lack any creativity what-so-ever.

cap america's shield sucks, IMO. it's just an adamantium frisbee. Anyone can have that.

well, it does survive long enough to get used by Vance Astro from the Guardians of the Glaxy some centuries later. Thats sort of cool i think.

EDIT: Why didn't Spiderman's Web Shooter qualify.

well in the hands of Cap its a deadlly weapon. i would say very few can use it as well as cap does.

as for spidy's web shooters i don't think they are really weapons.

makes sense that Mjolnir is #1. I think #2 should be Wolverine's adamantium

The Heart of the Universe, the Infinity Gauntlet, and any other weapon of INFINITE POWER!! written by Jim Starlin that involved Thanos is, by definition, retarded.

I think Doc Oc's tentacles are some of the coolest weapons in comic book history. Awesome without being over-the-top.

Captain America's shield is made of Vibranium, not adamantium. GOD...

Actually it's some type of combo that they've never been able to replicate in the Marvel U. I'm not sure, but I think somewhere it's said it's supposed to be harder than adamantium.

4 - Saint of Killers? revolvers ? Preacher

These Colt Walker style revolvers were actually fashioned from the Angel of Death?s sword, after he retired and handed his job off to the Saint. These old-school beauties never miss and are ALWAYS fatal. They are also capable of shooting through anything up to and including tank armor, and they never run out of ammunition. Did I mention that the Saint of Killers actually used these to kill the Devil himself, as well as a few thousand angels? I guess I just did.

WTF?!

In the official Marvel Super Heroes RPG from way back, Cap's shield was Class 3000 material strength, and adamantium was Class 5000 IIRC. Uru metal (Mjolnir) was also Class 3000.

If you want to see some superhero weapons that dwarf any of these, you can find them here.

cap's shield is suppose to be vibranium, steel, and an "unknown catalyst". that's why it's never been recreated exactly.
