Top 100 Essential Mac Applications

"Essential" is a pretty lousy word to use as I can't think of anyone that uses a computer for so many different things and enough to need using all of them.

Also, many of them are more or less "neat things" with only mild to no practical application. I mean, if "Fish" is an essential application on OS X, then Bonzai Buddy is a practical app on Windows. ... and it's not.

Agreed, maybe Top 100 Useful Mac Applications would be a more appropriate title...

Whats that app that shows your bandwidth usage in the menu bar? I had it on tiger before I switched to leopard and now I cant find it anywhere. Its great for when I run tests on streaming video sites.
