i'm not surprised with most of those pictures but the national geographic one was shocking. the photo didn't hurt anyone but of all the new agencies and magazines they're known for their natural photos.

The smoke one was ridiculous for a non-advertising pic. The Toronto one is still the best.

Never seen the Toronto shot before. Not only is it insulting to my anti-PC sensitivities, it's a pretty bad photochop. Everything about that image is wrong!

Yeah that's pretty freakin' bad, from a PS standpoint. I could do better than that!

I have a friend that does retouching for movies and film. He has a list of clips I'll see if I can get from him to post. They are not as easy to see in film , but there are some great ones out there. Where actors wanted certain things removed, everything from moles to extra weight and either by choice or chance the editing didn't go all that well.

I don't think the OJ and pyramid ones were bad though. The OJ one was darkened all over, not just his skin to generate a "dark feeling" picture and wasn't provided to show itself as a mug shot. The pyramids weren't in a picture where the positioning was important to the article.
