Top 10 degrees in demand

http://money.cnn.com/2004/11/1...jobs/index.htm?cnn=yes

When asked which new college grads they were likely to hire, the greatest number of employers said they were interested in hiring grads who majored in accounting, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration and economics/finance.

Whoo, math/econ major here.

Maybe I should beef up with some more finance/accounting classes..

Goddamn, engineers are still up there? I guess my bachelor of Comp. Eng. is not toilet paper after all. Whatever happened to erstwhile hot stuff like biotech?

<--- I'll be graduating in December with a Bachelors in Business Admin. with a minor in Econ. Nice to see Bus. Ad and Econ at #4 and #5 on the list at least.

<-- EE student taking a semester off, having the time of my life...and dreading returning to my dungeon of a college 🙁

baloney... undergrad degrees in marketing, finance, and management count for absolutely SQUAT. information sciences & cs is wayyy iffy (though i do notice companies have been recruiting more)... and the rest are historically marketable majors (accounting especially)
