Hey all,

How long will it be before "toots the [thomas the steam engine RIPOFF] train" is taken off shelves in order to avoid a huge lawsuit? I mean DAMN! Here's the page, if you haven't seen it. You can't see quite as well as you can on TV, but it has a little cute face, and it talks. COMPLETE plagiarism, this toy. I can't believe the ballsiness of Fisher Price in putting this one out.

Actually, Aves, it's plain to see that toots is MUCH MUCH MORE of a ripoff. Why? Army men exist. GI's exist. Trains with happy little faces that talk right in the front center of the train do NOT. It is a CHARACTER. --Not an object or a type of person. It is an invented character, so making another version of the exact same thing is quite simply making an unauthorized version of a character that is no doubt copyrighted and patented out the steam whistle.
