I don't know why, but for some reason my computer is running way hotter than it did a couple of weeks ago. I hate asking advice about this because it seems like there should be an obvious answer, but I can't find one. I now have two hard disks running in the machine, but that shouldn't make a 10 degree C difference and sometimes it gets 20 degrees hotter than it used to be. My cpu used to read around 36 C, but now it's always in the 40s and sometimes it reaches the 50s. This seems way too hot, and adding fans to the inside of the case doesn't seem to be helping at all. I added the 2coolPC that got such good reviews at 2cooltek, but it doesn't seem to help at all. If anything it seems worse. I have a GOrb on the cpu right now, but I hope to upgrade to a PAL6035. Suggestions are needed.

Thanks.

I would like to go with some extreme cooling like a peltier or a water cooler or something, but I have no experience with them and I am therefore a little hesitant with installing them. If anyone has experience I would love a little help/push in the right direction.

Thanks again.

you need to reapply the thermal grease to your heatsink, its either dried out or all gone.

You happen to upgrade the bios to your A7 lately? The newer versions get the thermsistor more accurate and so it reads a bit higher. Mine runs at 58c with stock heatsink and fan.
