Tools other than a dremel for moding?

I am going to borrow some tools from my school's metal/wood shop over the weekend for case modding related things. I want to cut a blowhole on the top of a case and put a window on the side. I'm not sure if we have a dremel lying around so I'm not sure what to use or if i can use something else. We have a handheld jigsaw, numerous rasps and knives, some other tools that don't come to mind at the moment.

Can someone name some tools I can use to cut these two things?

EDIT: This will be my 1st ever case mod project.

You could get a holesaw for your drill, that usually gets the job done pretty well. although I'd rather prefer a jigsaw. 🙂

The JigSaw with a fine blade meant for cutting metal should work quite nicely. Then use a fine file and/or some emery (sp?) paper to clean up the edge.
