is amazing!!! they kicked the musicianship up a great notch~! they do a lot of Dream Theater'esque syncopation and have definately taken a full step into the "progressive" realm of rock..

While the mix is as clear and detailed as ever, the texture's are very reminiscent of Aenema and Undertow, but content wise the songs seem like the "other side" of those 'worlds'... aka a more "positive" reflection...

like rather than being all "fvck your god" the band seems more humbled by spirituality, and maynard sings some lines that seem to beg for mercy almost.... like "father, why did you give them free will?"

1) the album is Aenima. the song is Aenema.
2) tool was never "fvck your god". that line comes from an a perfect circle song, incidentally not about god.
