I still think NIN tops Tool.

I tried this, but i couldnt get the tracks to line up perfectly.

Theres something to it, but it just sounded like a mess to me.

they don't line up perfectly. however it is possible to fit wings pt 2 and viginti tres exactly alongside wings pt 1 and it does kind of work in a way.

Isn't this really comparing the Trent Reznor project to 4 musicians? No offense to the musicians on NIN albums and the drum machine, but I think one could easily argue that Danny Carey is more talented than Trent Reznor. Then there's still the other 3 members of Tool...

Released a year after The Land of Rape and Honey. And maybe other genre albums I'm not aware of.

And when people mention the beatles purists mention a hundred other bands no one heard of cliaming that they came first. PHM fused the industrial sound with an accessible pop edge, even throwing in some hip hop.. Yes, it was new and original.

You said they created a genre, but I don't think that's the case.

In any case.. ... Ministry is awesome. Well, at least a few albums are. ;)

Nothing against NIN, I'd rate NIN over Ministry for the most part, even if Psalm 69 is my personal fave industrial album.

Maybe so for their bassist and guitar player, but Danny Carey is an incredible drummer.
Yeah, it frustrates me because I can play the guitar parts but my drummer can't hardly TOUCH Danny's drumming.

Odd meters, ftw.
