I have a guy who wants me to replace the batteries in a dewalt 18v drill. The cells are not the popular AA or C size. They are a different size. I was wondering if anyone knew.

Maybe "A"size?

Battery measurements:

1 5/16" long
7/8" diameter
3" circumfence ( aprox )

found it. Looks like a 4/5 SC. Sub C :(

They are actually NiCad in most. I will be upgrading them to NiMH though for this guy. Dewalt wants $80 for a new pack. Kinda nuts for 15 cells.

<edit>
Also they are the same size as the ones in my firestorm drill and my Ryobi. I think it is a standard of some sort. Would measurements help?
