After reading endless praise for the overclocking ability of the Athlon XP2500+ Mobile CPU, finally decided it was time to upgrade my PC.

Most my rig can likely handle is a little over 3000+ CPU speed, due to the multiplier limitations on my Asus A7V333 motherboard. But 3000+ to 3200+ on air cooling will be fine for now, hold me over 'til 2005.

Figure by January 2005, the price for the Athlon 64 3800+ should come down from the stratosphere and nForce3-250 motherboards and SFF/XPCs will be available.

Cheers,

It's really too bad your doing this piece meal. I doubt with that board and you current ram you'll see the full bliss if any.
