Took a shot in the dark with a Newegg openbox...

I picked up an M2N-SLI Deluxe off Newegg this week. It just showed up this afternoon. I took the risk of an open box item. I figured if the board itself didn't work, Newegg would make it better, and if they didn't Asus would. I was hoping (not banking) on the legendary "I bought the openbox mobo but still got the full retail box with everything in it" that most people get.

Well, I didn't. Simple brown box with a motherboard in it. The motherboard appears to be fine, can't tell for sure as the CPU is a day behind (meaning next week after xmas). Either way, I didn't get a lick of anything else. Just a naked board.

With that said, does anyone know if Asus might provide an IO Shield for a motherboard? Has anyone gone this route with them? I'm not concerned about pretty much anything else... I have SATA cables and such. But the IO Shield is pretty much a must.

Asus will send you an accessories package for $10-12 for just about any current board they make.
