Another property management job. But damn, they made a nice offer, more than double my last salary! I kept a perfectly straight face. :) Tommorow I'll take a drive around the area and take a look at the buildings. I don't have the job locked up, but they seemed pretty interested.

Good job. er... both compliment and explaining your job.. ironically :)
take it. if you could live comfortably off your old job, then think of what you could do with 2x the money!
Don't know much about that career, but it sounds like a double salary would be a great deal

Does that mean you're not too happy about a property management job?

Yeah, I was kinda fed up with it. But this is a different kind of PM job. I won't be dealing with tenants at all, I will be a regional manager. I will have properties all around the area (NJ, NY, PA, MD, CT) and the site managers will answer to me as far as how much they are spending, why things are not getting done in a timely manner etc etc etc. I really wanted to get into construction, but this salary may make me stay in PM.

It'd be worth a shot. Good luck.

Definitely worth a shot. My friend who works for this company called me today and told me that from the people they interviewed so far, my name is near the top of the list. But they are still interviewing for another month. So we'll see.
