The sad thing is that the occasional stupid judge like this is what causes things like mandatory sentencing laws to be passed.
 
If it was the judge's 12yo daughter getting fingered and short-manhandled, something tells me this would turn out different... W. T. F.
 
Its things like this that make it embarasing to live in Neb sometimes. At least the attorney general is appealing it to a higher court so he should iltimatly end up in jail. And I hope the judge is up for retention soon so she is out of a job fast.
