Too much stuff in one box?

I am thinking about getting another harddrive but I am worried that I have too much in my system now. I have a DVD drive, DVD-R drive, CD-R drive and 3 harddrives (1 IDE and 2 SCSI). I want to get a Seagate X-15 but I only have 2 plugs left on my power supply. Will I be ok using 1 plug to run my 4 cooling fans? You can check out my headache for more details. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

You'll only know if you try it. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. Why don't you pull your DVD drive out? Your DVD-R drive can play DVDs too. I personally like my systems as stripped down as possible.

I like the Toshiba because it is rated as one of the best drives for reading data. I also use it to do on-the-fly DVD backups of my PS2 games. I guess I could get rid of one of my SCSI drives and make room for it, but they are so expensive that I hate to take a loss on one.

You could always give one to me :) I was just suggesting that you pull that drive out because it seemed useless to me, but now I see why you have it in there. As long as they'll all fit, I don't think an extra hard drive drawing on the power supply will take it over its limit.
