Too much Nvidia marketing in the Video forum

I have no problem whatsoever with NV employees posting information in our Video forum. The problem is, they're posting way too much, and it's not even any sort of inside info; they're basically advertising NV graphics cards in there.

If you want an example, check out this thread regarding NV's latest graphics card.

2 out of every 3 posts is either by an NV employee or an NV fanboy. It's out of control. I'm convinced that just about everyone else in there is wasting their time trying to refute this endless deluge of NV propaganda. It needs to stop.

The NV people are even acting as though they're mods, trying to control and direct the discussion, telling other members what to talk about and what not to talk about. It's stupid.





We're done here. My answer is on the bottom of this thread. All the thread hijacking posts to that preview thread have been removed.

I could have linked just about any thread in the video forum; you NV guys have taken over in a serious way, and are even telling your fellow members how to post, what to post about, and what not to post about. Then some of you go running to the mods over such petty non-issues, for whatever reason I don't know.

Wreckage, I don't have an issue with you per se, it's the fact that there is a massive horde of people like you taking over the video forum en masse (albeit less opinionated).

Really I think the mods should only intervene upon request. I think the forums here are pretty civil without much intervention.

while i think that the NV guys shouldnt be on. if htey are going to allow them on then allow them on. its the crap they pulled before with the lies, getting people banned and other bullshit that goes on.

posting alot is no reason to ban them.

Wow. 9/10 posts on these forums are AMD/ATi fanboys. I hear AMDzone is accepting registrations if you cant handle people who prefer Nvidia over ATi here.


And why is it always ATi fanboys who post in Personal Forum Issues, even though they are the clear majority? 😕

Everyone can pretty much assume that there are some AMD agents on these forums, they just havent been caught so they dont have to put it in thier sig. At least with the nV people being in the open, you know where it is coming from. There is full disclosure. Cant really say that about ATi.

Sickbeast was the last to derail the thread. If you people cannot post about the topic at hand, which is the GTX295 preview stay out of the thread. Any more derailing of that thread and vacations will be issued.
