Hi, I'm putting a system together. It consists of a
TBird1200
Asus A7V133
3x256 PC133 Micron
Asus 32MB GTS
SBLive Value
Realtek8139 10/100
WD 40GB ATA100
NEC 8x4x32
Pioneer 16xDVD
WIN98SE
My problem is that during and after installing of the SBLive drivers the system becomes unstable. It will crash and not boot back to OS. After many hours and reloads I found out that it is the memory. I cannot have all 3 sticks in. 2 are fine and 2+1 128 are ok too. As soon as I put that third one back in I get no system boot. Individually all sticks are ok, as I have tried all combinations. I know this is a ridiculous amount of ram for a win98 system but it's for a customer and I'm stumped...any help out there?
Thanks
