Too much heat? Or is it okay?

I was curious to know my heat temps for my CPU and the system. I booted in CMOS and found out that my CPU is running about 56 degrees celsius, and the system temp is around the same. Is this too high? Perhaps I need more fans, but then again, I have 2 door fans - one blowing in, one blowing out.

What do you mean 2 door fans? fans on the side of your case? you should have those fans blowing in while a fan in the back of your case (near the cpu area) blows air out. Kinda weird that your system temp is around the same as the cpu temp, it must be pretty hot.

If you have 2 side panel fans side by side, one blowing in and one blowing out, then the one blowing out will just blow out the air that the other one just sucked in.... so it would be like a mini air cycle between the two, with no airflow going through the case.

Yep, I would move one of those fans to the rear of the case ASAP. it wouldn't hurt to get one for the front of the case also.

I downloaded myself a copy of Motherboard Monitor. Right now, I'm not running much - just IE, and my CPU temp is 47C, and system temp is 55C. I moved one fan to the front, and left one fan on the door. If I could only place one fan, would it be more important to have a fan in the front or the rear (Of course both would be better 🙂)
