Too much current running through CPU?

I'm a bit worried and would appreciate any help you guys can dish out.

As you can see, it seems like my CPU is receiving an extremely high number of watts, while voltage stays normal...

since
(power)=(voltage)x(current)
P=VI

that means that there are 1094.2 amps running thru my CPU!?
Something's not right here.
This only happens when I run a stress test with LinX
please tell me I'm missing something ;__;

There isn't a cooling system out there that could cool that, it would melt in a matter of moments. The readout in CPU-Z is clearly garbage.

Decimal point needs to move to the left, then maybe it's accurate.

yes hilarious, ever heard of print screen or snipping tool :)

and not one but two decimal points. at idle, CPU is taking single watts

Sorry? I thought it was giving me the Power used... ~1300 watts..

maybe I didn't sit my CPU block correctly..

..and that could be why the readings are off.
You're not using 1300W with just your CPU. It's a glitch. In the software. You didn't do anything incorrectly. Just ignore it.

Time to upgrade your psu I guess.

Still strange though, coretemp shows correct reading for my cpu (using RC5).

Also, VID is not vcore. Use cpu-z or hwinfo to check vcore.
