I brewed a pot of coffee with about 2x the amount of grounds.

Then I constructed a 4x drip filter with 4 filters, 4 styrofoam cups, and about 2x the normal amount of grounds x 4

I poured the brewed coffee into there, and let it drip down through the 4 layers until it came out... wish I had my digi cam, it is black as night even in a thin layer, the regularly stuff is just brown.

How much caffeeine will I get out of a 16 ounce cup of this stuff? Am i going to die? WOO

Why not just throw 4x the amount of grounds into a coffee maker with only 1 filter and wait for the decanter to fill?

so up 20 hours, sleep 4, up another 24... I work third shift, was busy this weekend and didnt get sleep like I needed.

I am awake, but Id rather be more alert for my job right now, hence my caffeine experiment :)

I think the question you're trying to ask is "How much caffienne is this?" not "how much coffee?" Hahaha! Methinks you're wired off the charts already! :Q

Sorry, still waiting for an answer to the first post stating if that amount of caffeine is actually harmful :) it could just be the same as drinking 6 cups, which wouldnt be bad

There's no real way to tell.

And no, you won't die.

BTW, caffeine pills may be cheaper with all the grounds you're using. :p
