too much burning

i have been ripping and burning now for like 4 hours straight. is that bad for my burner. should i give it a break for a little bit?

If it is actually getting hot, then it may be a problem, but as long as it's 'just warm' I wouldn't worry about it at all. If you're nervous at all, just take off your case side panels and you should be fine.
 
i am not too worried about the case temp, i have plenty of fans and the room it is in is quite comfortable (65-70 degrees F)

i checked the burner and it is cool as a cucumber

i burn all weekend sometimes and as long as it don't get hot your ok my cdrw is two years old lol
