roth ira, medical expense account, college fund. i think things would just be simplier if they could be just combined into one.

Intended for different purposes, different rules and were allowed at different times based on political decisions.

Also, by having them seperate, it is easier to foul up one and not contaminate the others. And it is easier to also waste one of the options.
