I have three monitors on my desk for three separate computers. Consequently, I have three keyboards on my desk. Is there a way to use one keyboard with all three computers? Is there a keyboard switch or something where I can switch computers from the keyboard?

I think instead of looking for a solution via keyboards you should look at the bigger problem with your set up. Why do you have 3 computers at the same desk?

Depending on what you use the other two computers for, have you considered using RDP/VNC for remote control?

I used to use Synergy back when I had multiple PC's using the same desk.

There are many applications where it might make sense.
In my case I used it for multiboxing in gaming, I've also used it for running a slackware and xfce boot on one and windows xp on the other (a long time ago.)

These days I just run 1 pc at my desk and I do all my linux stuff through the shell...

Got 4 computers @ one desk all sharing 1 keyboard, 1 display and 1 mouse using this:

FYI: One system is a ZFS server with 7x hard drives, one is a Linux based BOINC crunch box, one is a newer gamer with an i5-2500k and dual HD 6950s, and one is an older gaming system with way more software on it than the new gamer has on it.

I could easily eliminate the old gamer by loading up the new gamer with all the right software but it is easier to push the button on the KVM and just pop over the the other computer...

This is what I thought would be best, unless there's some specific reason you needed access to all 3 at roughly the same time. For a gaming rig I would be connected physically, but for storage or rendering system you could easily get away with a remote connection imo.

:thumbsup: Three monitors for three computers just screams "Synergy" to me.
