Too many images on DailyTech articles?

Is it me or do the authors attach way too many images in DailyTech articles?

Take for example:

Do we really need so many useless images? It makes it very hard to read - especially when the width of the page is so small.

yes, very distracting, that was not fun to look at.

more so the ads which for some reason are not being blocked... Anyone else notice the amount of required manual added ads are going up with using AdBlock?

I don't think DailyTech writers know what image thumbnails are.

Last time I read DailyTech, I thought they should change their name to LastWeekTech.
