Too many gadgets

I was recently looking into an mp3 player, but then I realized that I would be getting a PDA for "free" from school next year. So I'm going to have a cell phone, mp3 player, PDA, a huge key chain and a thick wallet while I'm walking around. I'd rather watch video and listen to my songs on one device, but in order to play any decent amount of music and play video on my PDA, I'll need to get several of those large size flash cards (CF, SD, etc...), which may be quite costly.

Is there any device that will just consolidate everything? I mean, individually, these toys are all pocket-size, but having to mess around three things plus my essential wallet and keys will get kinda cumbersome. I'll have to wear my baggy pants all the time. Obviously not a serious issue, but I'm a big fan of traveling light.

Smartphones.

The big ones with the nice displays and Windows Mobile 2003.
Just get one big flash card and some good headphones.

The only problem is using it all the time and trying to keep it charged up.

You need a smartphone, either a Win Mobile or other based phone. I have the Linux-powered Motorola A780, which has a large touch screen and stylus, handwriting recognition, clamshell design, PDA-apps, mp3 player with stereo headphones/microphone, bluetooth, is USB rechargeable, and has a changeable battery (mine came with two). Downside - it uses transflash, so storage is limited to 256M, and it has only been released for the Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Indian markets by Moto so far. I bought mine greymarket for ~$450 from a reseller in NYC.

Those Win Mobile phones tend to have larger screens that really suck the juice pretty fast...but they are better at Office applications. For examply, mine can read Word and Excel and pdf, but can't edit. Most win mobiles can edit...
