Dasm! I'm researching and researching and researching about heatsinks, fans, adapters, ducts, etc. I am currently leaning towards a PAL6035, modified PEP66 to fit on a KK266, FOP32 w/ 60-80 mm adapter (yes, I have read the latest on whether this actually helps), or a FOP32/duct combo w/ or w/o the adapter.
Believe it or not, I don't have intentions of creating some brutal overclock...I just want to have fun! AND - I don't intend to upgrade anything but the processor and video card for about 2 years, so I don't mind spending some extra now. Actually, let me qualify that. I don't want to spend the money for the latest and greatest Swiftech.
Please help me narrow down my choices. At this time, I'm not interested in a blowhole or the Delta Banshee. Maybe down the road (afer more research), I'll look into the blowhole.
(Further info to give a complete post: Antex SX-830 w/ ONLY 1 80-mm intake, 80mm exhaust and PSU fan exhaust. I haven't even built this yet, so I'll determine if I'll be adding more case fans after I've heard this bad boy run.) 🙂
