Motivated by negative consequences?

When your aversion to your current situation becomes greater than your aversion to change, you will change.

You're fat. u only change after you end up in the hospital for diabities/heart attack/fat related problem.

your not sociable. you stay home and post on ATOT. You change when... ? What kind of realistic negative things will make you change in this situation???

I have change in my pocket.

when I got change at taco bell for lunch, I got a 1776-1976 bicentinial quarter - turns out it's just worth face value but I'd never seen one before.

but the internet is your friend?

or does it get old? does it ever get old?

unlike TV, internet is interactive. you have some form of social contact. will this hanging on by a thread not overcome your aversion to your current situation? thus not change?

isn't that what atot is about? seems that way, anyway.
look at the threads. spelling and grammar nazis, people who have more money or better education than someone else, if you don't know something someone will make fun of you for that.

If you feel comforatble with having the internet as a friend, your already screwed. Good luck with that. Maybe a month long power outage? Hell if I know...
