Okay, so what if I found this when I missed all the deadlines for sending real flowers for today.

Hopefully, my fiance won't kill me the next time I see her.

IMO, the nicest greeting cards are here: iCards from Apple.

edit: The receiver actually gets the card via email and does not need to click a link in order to see the greeting card. That is a great advantage with the iCards from Apple.

Of course this only works if you have a "virtual" girlfriend/wife. Otherwise you'll be in the "very real" dog house

If you're wife/girlfriend buys cards ahead of times (unlike men who buy cards the day of the event), find out where they hide them. When they aren't looking, take a peek at the card (don't look inside, just look at the front cover). Memorize the front cover. Then, go to a card store and buy THE EXACT SAME CARD! When you exchange cards on Valentine's Day, she'll be so happy that you are so "in tune" that you both picked out the same card.

1. I don't want to hear anything about this being dishonest. Any man who's been asked "do I look fat in this" has NOT answered honestly (and lived to brag about it).
2. Don't do this every year. Women tend to be bright enough to catch on.
3. If you do sneak a peek at the inside of the card, take a look to make sure it's to you. If it's to another man, give her the same card, but have some nasty words for her in it. She'll be shocked that you found out her evil, cheating plan.

Can't you just see some dumbass peeking at the card and buying the exact same one, based on the picture...and the card says "To my loving husband on Valentine's Day"? !

In other words...make sure it's not gender specific.
