Just hit 98F at the Portland International Airport, and it's right on the Columbia River, it's usually a few degrees hotter in town. :Q

The only good thing about it?

Humidity: 16%

I feel no sympathy for you. I was at a golf scramble last Tuesday, it was 97 degrees with 82% humidity. No complaining from you 😉

I work for an Air Condition/Mechanical Contracting firm, and the scramble was full of engineers. Of course, being the dorks we are, we were trying to design an AC system for the earth, even got so far as pricing it out. We sent a copy of the proposal to God, but he didn't want to spring for it. 😉

And I did die....twice.
 
Our bedroom/computer room is in the basement which instantly lowers the temp by at least 7-8 deg F 🙂

Plus the a/c is on.
 
Yeah? Well it seems like fvcking 1,000,000 degrees when you're pushing your truck down Murray Boulevard looking for a parking lot to pull off in because your clutch/transmission overheated and you can't fvcking shift gears --and nobody has the COURTESY to stop and help you!!! :|

Well, one guy did, but I had already pushed it about 1/4 mile when he came driving past, stopped, got out, and helped me push it the last 200 feet or so to a gas station. He and I were both laying against my truck, pooped, and sweaty as hell in this heat. He made some comment about all these people and nobody but him stopped to help. I concur. :disgust:

That's because your Honda Accord isn't almost 20 years old and only on it's second clutch/first transmission. Your Honda Accrap wouldn't last nearly that long and be in such good shape. I sat there for 10 minutes before cranking it over and going home, barely able to shift. If it's just a new clutch, cool. If it's a new transmission that I need, I'm fvcked.
