check these out, those look great. u think they are actually 80 cfm @ 29 dba? the panaflo lia is 68 cfm @ 30 dba, so if these were so quiet i would definately get them over the panaflos.

I've got an 80MM version of that fan, which I use on an adapter for a Coolermaster HHC-001. The 80MM pushes about 38CFM, and is extremely quiet, so I wouldn't doubt that the 120 version is also quiet. The manufacturer of the fan I have is "Titan", and I got it from PCMods.

i bought two of these, and they are not that quiet, although on 7volts, they are more than acceptable.

oh yea, and I got them for 7.99 from pcmods.

Well consider an Antec LED 120 millimeter fan spins at 2200 RPMs and moves 70.6 CFM while making 36 dB of noise. A Papst 120 mm fan spins at 1600 RPMs and moves 55.6 CFM while making 26 dB. The Evercool in question fan is ball-bearing, so it's not using one of the quieter sleeve designs. I guess it's possible, but I'm a bit skeptical.

I have first hand experience with the Papst fan. It is very quiet (26 dB), though it does move less air than the other two.

Also, going from the specs I'm seeing, the Panaflo fans are 38 mm deep vs. 25 for the others if that makes a difference in your clearences.

i had the enermax 120mm RPM adjustable fan.. very good.. that was the only fan i needed in my case, and it kept my case 6-10C cooler than my current lian li which has two fans in the front and one fan in the back..

I've got one of these, and its probably right around 30dba like its rated.
Thats a little too high for me though, mine is hooked into a rheobus and slightly turned down.

I don't know what to think. According to Gizzo's fan database, Nidec makes a 120mm fan that pushes 82.1 cfm @ 33.0 dBA. However, it's 120x38. Also, it lists the same specs for the 2000rpm fan that it does for the 3400rpm fan. That's ridiculous. Maybe Gizzo isn't as reliable as I thought. :( But even if one 120x38mm fan that pushes 82.1cfm @ 33.0 dBA @ 2000 rpm is possible (it's also ball bearing), I still don't think it's possible for a fan that is 120x25mm that pushes 80cfm to make only 30 dBA. I just don't buy it.

I have no way to test the cfm, but this fan pushes a lot of air, and it is relatively quiet. I work towards silence in my personal pc, and while this fan is above my tolerances at 12v, I don't doubt its <30db rating. BTW, I got mine at compusa where its repackaged under the Compusa brand. Its an evercool fan. Compusa had the same specs for it.
