Hey everyone,
I recently did a very thorough cleaning of my pc and got a TON of dust out of my zalman 7000 that was badly clogged before. I'm running on a Gigabyte 8IPE-1000 board, which apparently exaggerates how cool temps are, but I want to know how badly so I know how careful to be when I try to OC soon. Before my cleaning my 3.0c Northwood proc was running at ~35 idle and ~50 load. Now it's running at ~22-25 idle (yes, I couldn't believe it either, but that's what I'm getting from Speedfan/MBM/Everest/Sandra) and ~35 load. I know these are probably too low because I'm only on air cooling but do you guys have any suggestions on how to get a more accurate reading? Thanks!
EDIT: I'm in Canada now during the winter and my ambient room temp is around 19-20C for what it's worth.
