Too good to be true offer from someone on Ebay...Is this Escrow safe?

Run, don't walk away from this deal. Don't even consider sending money to a shady escrow service for a too-good-to-be-true deal from an overseas seller. It might be fun to string him along, though . . .

That's illegal and against eBay rules. Supposedly for fraud protection. But I think eBay just doesn't want to miss out on fees. 😉 Anyway, I wouldn't trust it.

That company is not a real escrow business.

A google search shows that there is not even a single referance to the site or company by anyone.

Oh.. and if that doesn't do it, the website was created 2 days ago. 😀

They also have a fake TrustE seal; the TrustE database doesn't list them, which effectively gives away without a doubt that they're fake.

Same thing happend to me. I wanted to bid on a notebook but they requested that i e-mail them first. They told me i either buy it from them at the price they offered or don't buy. Apparently E-bay screwed them up or something. WTF is that? Not allowed to bid? Sometimes i hate e-bay.
